It was a pleasure speaking with you all at Back to School night. With only 10 minutes to speak in each class, I always feel rushed. If any of you felt like your questions weren’t answered, please feel free to email me. I was pleased with the turnout and your students will be happy when they find out that they received extra credits for your efforts. The last few weeks have been very productive. We had a historic home football game at CV last Friday. The band performed their field show to a capacity crowd. Every class is sight-reading new material for the year and a few pieces have already been selected. We are pulling out rhythm sheets while focusing on chorals as well as major and minor scales to help with our musicianship. Thank you for your help with the Cookie-Man fundraiser and don’t forget to come out this Saturday to get your car washed! |
