Crescenta Valley High School sets high standards for its students and faculty. Likewise, the Instrumental Music Department, led by Mr. Mathew Schick, is a crown jewel in our community, this school district and among the student body at CVHS. Albert Einstein said, “...I get the most joy in life out of music." Mr. Schick, our Music Director feels the same way … “Music allows us to celebrate and preserve our cultural heritages, and also to explore the realms of expression, imagination, and creation resulting in new knowledge. Therefore, every individual should be guaranteed the opportunity to learn music and to share in musical experiences.”
Because of the generosity of our community, and people like you, Crescenta Valley High School is able to guarantee every interested student the opportunity to lean and share in the musical experience.
CVIM is an IRC Section 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit charitable organization and we welcome your financial support. This organization supports the Crescenta Valley High School Instrumental music program by raising money and providing volunteers for music department events.
