MARCHING BAND CORNER
Colorguard - 1st place! Thanks for a great Band Review and
parade. Everyone did amazingly well as all groups earned their
highest scores ever! We are especially proud of Colorguard since
they have only been in existence for 2 years and are comprised of
Freshmen and Sophomores.
Tomorrow is the Battle of the Bands field show
competition, hosted by Moorpark HS! Report time for all MB members
is 3:30pm (3pm for crews). CV is scheduled to warm up at 6:30pm
and perform at 7:30pm. The award ceremony will take place around
9:30pm and students should get back to CV around 11pm. This is a
competition, so come prepared to dress in uniform with clean
gloves/shoes and proper hair lengths! Parents wishing to watch the
competition can click here for directions to MHS:
4500 Tierra Rejada Road, Moorpark CA 93021
MONTROSE
PARADE There are currently 15+ articles of "lost" clothing that have been collecting all Marching season, most of which are Band shirts and sweaters. :( If you know your son or daughter is missing something, please contact me immediately. After the season (in 2 weeks), the articles will become property of band.

ENSEMBLE CONCERT RECAP Last night, the Symphony Orchestra performed their first Ensemble Concert of the year. It was held in the Mac Donald Auditorium at Crescenta Valley High School. Students played ensembles of all kinds; Duets, Trios, and large groups. They did a wonderful job performing classical and contemporary music. Our musicians are truly talented! |
