 FALCON NOTES

With only two weeks until the end of the semester and one week until finals, it's hard to believe that we are almost at the half-way point of this school year.  If you are a senior, you are probably anticipating the end of the year and if you are a freshmen, you can be proud that you've survived the first semester.  Everyone should be proud of their accomplishments so far this year and be excited for our upcoming festivals and concerts.  We've chosen some challenging music that will require everyone to practice outside of class.  Even though I don't require practice records, there is still an expectation that every student put in at at least 20-30 minutes a day on their instrument.
Only then will our progress as a group be successful.

 "ONCE ON THIS ISLAND" PIT RESULTS

Congratulations to the following students who are in the pit for this year's Spring Musical "Once On This Island."

January Rehearsal Schedule: (3:15-5:15)
1/22, 1/23, 1/24, (1:00 - 3:00:1/29, 1/30,)

Students were given detailed information regarding rehearsals and performances.  Check the online calendars for updates.
 INSTRUMENT RENTAL - 2ND SEMESTER

$45.00 Rental is due first week of Second Semester.  Forms are also due.
 LA CRESCENTA WOMEN'S CLUB SWING DANCE - JAZZ BAND

Call time is 6:00pm for Jazz Band AT CV.  We will be eating Panda Express before the gig.  Dress is formal. Black shirts.

  PARENT MEETING

Last Tuesday, we had a very low turnout for our first parent meeting of the year.
 
We are currently looking for people to help out in all capacities, as many of our board positions will open up for next year.

Our next meeting will be February 12th at 7:00pm in the Instrumental Music Room.
 SPRING TRIP

Final payment is due: February 22nd for $124.
