FALCON NOTES What an amazing Concert! Our students are doing so well! You should be very proud of their current accomplishments. I know we sometimes overlook the importance of a little praise when in the middle of work, school and life, but if you attended the Spring Concert last Friday, take some time out to congratulate your son or daughter. Sometimes it is hard to remember that hours and hours of preparation are needed prepare for a concert. Please do your best at all CVHS concerts (and elsewhere) to maintain proper audience etiquette. The most important thing is to turn off all distractions (cell phones, pagers, mp3 players, electronic devices, etc...) Over 250 students spend every day practicing for concerts and to have them disrupted by something easily preventable is truly a shame. It's one thing if they miss a note, or play something not perfect, but to have an outside source interfere with their playing is disheartening for the student and interested audience members. |
