FALCON NOTES Only a couple of weeks until graduation and we are all feeling the summer bug. Even so, the music department is busy as ever. Every class is winding down and preparing music for graduation and looking at rhythms in preparation for their last music final of the year. Jazz and Symphony are doing music presentations, Wind Ensemble and String Orchestra are practicing rhythms. Concert Band just finished a gig where they helped to dedicate CV's new football field and track. The even was held on Friday at 2:00 and dignitaries from all over Glendale were in attendance and witnessed the awesome sound of our Marching Band. Even though it was a hot day, we were proud to represent CV and play for such an important event. We even led the procession of sports teams and school groups around the track to kick-off the walk-a-thon! Have a great week! |
