FALCON NOTES Our first performance is in the books! Our Winter Concert was spectacular. I received numerous compliments after the show on how musical, well-behaved, and energetic our musicians were. Our hard working students made the CV community proud of it's fine music program. Thank you for a great performance. This week was also the final Pit auditions for the musical. CV is producing "Crazy for You" in March and I hope everyone plans on attending. We have an amazing cast and highly talented musicians ready to tackle the "Tap-intensive" musical. Jazz band gets no rest! Saturday, the day after our wonderful Holiday concert, they performed outside the Kodak Theater in Hollywood to a very appreciative outdoor crowd. Playing in the media courtyard has always been a wonderful yearly tradition since the famous Hollywood sign becomes our backdrop. This Tuesday, Jazz Band will be playing at Borders in Glendale. I hope you all can come down to listen and support our Jazz Band. This Thursday and Friday is the "Feast of Lights." Symphony Orchestra will be performing with Choir to put on this wonderful annual musical tradition. Marching Band will get this Tuesday off due to the banking day. (Thank you) However, every-other day is a normal "early" start time. (6:45) Don't forget to sign-up for Borders and to get names for E-Scrip. We desperately need your support in order to maintain our musical excellence. Thank you and have a wonderful week. | In this issue: Web Links | |||
