FALCON NOTES The Winter "Holiday" season is approaching and the music department is "fine-tuning" our music for our December concerts. In anticipation, at La Crescenta Presbyterian Church, Students from the Symphony Orchestra will be performing in pieces written for small groups at their annual Ensemble Concert. The concert is this Thursday and starts at 7:00pm. Don't miss it! The Marching Band will be performing at the annual Montrose Christmas Parade on December 3rd. Come out and watch us march down Honolulu boulevard. The entire music department will be performing our annual Winter Concert on December 9th. The concert starts at 7:00pm. Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students with an ASB card. Plan to attend and hear a wide variety of Winter and Holiday Songs. The Jazz Band also has a few gigs in December. On December 10th, they will be performing at "Hollywood and Highland" at 2:00pm and on December 13th at 6:00pm, they will be at Borders in Glendale. They will also be playing at Los Gringos Rapidos sometime in December. I hope that all of you come out to see your child perform. I realize that the upcoming season is a busy one, however nothing helps a child feel important like parents who support them and are involved in their lives. I'm surprised by the number of parents who "drop-off" students before concerts and "pick-them up" afterwards. I hope to see all of you on December 9th. | In this issue: Web Links | ||
