More About CVIMF

Purpose & Objectives

The Crescenta Valley Instrumental Music Foundation (CVIMF) is a not-for-profit, non-political, Section 501(c)(3) organization, whose sole purpose is to provide support to the musical education of students at CVHS and the Director of Instrumental Music.  We provide organizational support – including clerical, financial*, administrative, logistical and organizational assistance.  This allows the Music Director to focus on the musical education of the students in the following: Marching Band/Concert Band, Symphony Orchestra, String Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Color Guard/Winter Guard, and Winter Drumline.

*We collect money through voluntary contributions and fundraising.

In addition, we ask that each family donates a voluntary monetary contribution.  The voluntary monetary contribution is not mandatory, but is vital towards the compensation of:

* our coaches * competition fees * instrument and equipment purchases/repairs * uniform purchases and maintenance (clean/repair/replace) * transportation to music festivals and competitions * dinner at competitions and festival *

Your generosity allows us to continue to provide our musicians with items not purchased by our school district. Click on the links below to learn more! Thank you for your support!
