FALCON NOTES This is it! The end of the year is near! The Instrumental Music Department is proud to present its annual Winter Concert this Friday at 7:00pm in the MacDonald Auditorium. Wind Ensemble, String Orchestra, Jazz Band, Symphony Orchestra and Marching Band have all worked hard to present an amazing Concert. You'll hear Bell Carols, Marches, Sugar Plum Fairies, a Samba Version of the Dreidel Song, Horses, Solos, Drumline, and more! Over 270 Students have worked incredibly hard the past few months to perform an amazing show! I can't wait to see all of you there. The Winter is usually the most attended concert so come early because parking will be a challenge. See you then! INSTRUMENTAL WINTER CONCERT • The INSTRUMENTAL WINTER CONCERT is this Friday, December 19th! Full of fun and beautiful holiday music! DON'T MISS IT! Plan to arrive early, allow enough time to park and walk. Start time is 7:00pm sharp. Ticket prices are: $8.00 - Adults & students without ASB card. $5.00 - Students with ASB card and children under 12			POINSETTIAS! The Annual Pre-Sale Poinsettia Holiday Fundraiser is here! Only $10.00 assures you a beautiful Poinsettia for the holidays. Please help us out by purchasing a plant or two! Order forms are available from your student or at the Winter Concert if supplies last. Poinsettia's should be picked up at the end of the Instrumental Winter Concert on Friday, 12/19.
ESCRIP - RALPHS SCRIP DRIVE IMPORTANT: We are currently asking everyone to please sign up for Vons Scrip and Ralphs Scrip. Instructions on how to do this online can be download here. If you can't download from this email, please visit www.falconmusic.org and click the link on the front page. A copy of this downloadable handout was passed out to each student and we are having a competition to see which class signs up the most people. 50% participation = popsicles 75% participation = + chips and drinks 100% participation = + class pizza party This is a very painless way to raise funds for our music department. In 2007, we received $9,500 from eScrip alone!			"SOUND OF MUSIC" PIT AUDITIONS Next spring's Musical will be "Sound of Music"! One day left to sign up for an audition to be in the pit orchestra. See Mr. Schick for info, application and requirements. CHARMS Student's basic assignments are being entered into CHARMS. (sectionals, scales tests, and event attendance). To access CHARMS online, click here or type https://www.charmsoffice.com. Once you are on the Log In to Parent's Area, our school log in is: crescentav . To see your student's personal information, enter their GUSD ID#.			SAN FRANCISCO UPDATE! The 2nd payment of $150 for the Spring Trip to San Francisco was due 12/3. There is late fee of $20 if not paid by 12/3. There are still some spots available, so it is not too late to sign up! Contact Mr. Schick if you are interested. Next payment is due Jan. 23, $150.
