BAND CAMP - Please report to the CVHS Music Room (3102) for Band Camp. BAND CAMP (INCLUDING DM/CG) Mon., August 21 - Fri., September 1 8:00am - 4:00pm Important Dates: August 26 - Zuma Beach trip 9-4 August 28 - Pictures/ Possible Performance September 1 - Performance / Awards and Party You will receive paperwork on Monday. All paperwork is available Online as well as the order form. Everything must be returned by Wednesday Aug. 23 to ensure quick delivery in time for the first home game (September 8) |
PICKING UP SCHEDULES AND BOOKS DURING BAND
CAMP Band Camp Students will pick up their Class Schedules on the following days and times in the Counseling Office: Seniors: Thursday, Aug. 24 - 10:30 Juniors: Friday, Aug. 25 - 10:30 Sophomores: Monday, Aug. 28 - 10:30 (or after pictures) Freshmen: Tuesday, Aug. 29 - TBA - Freshmen WILL go to Orientation, however they will leave early and Band Officers will give them a tour of campus and show them their classes. If a student needs to speak with a counselor regarding their schedule, they must make an appointment no earlier than 3:00p.m. that day. Students may pick up their books at 3:00pm on the day they receive their schedule. All Lockers must be claimed before band Camp starts. | ||
ALUMNI Alumni who no longer wish to receive this newsletter, please send an email to "Newsletter@falconmusic.org" and type "remove" in the subject line. It is our desire to keep current as well as past students and parents informed of our musical activities. We only send one email a week and to date, we have 161 alumni who receive the newsletter because they wish to "keep in touch." |
CAMP REMINDERS Every year we have students who arrive unprepared for band camp and are affected by the hot weather. We will be outside from 8-12 everyday. Each student is expected to bring: Comfortable shoes (no open toe), sunscreen, comfortable clothes, Hat, lunch/money for lunch, instrument, music, pencil, Water bottle (1 liter minimum) Ice and coolers are provided) |
