FALCON NOTES

I truly hope this finds you fresh and eager to start the new year.  Monday is around the corner and that means the sounds of brass, drums, winds and yes, doctor beat!
Band Camp Starts start next week.   Don't be late on the first day.  Remember, "To be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late and to be late is to be left behind."  We have a lot of wonderful new things to go over and get ready for.  Officers and Drum Line have already spent this week preparing for an awsome year.  In the words of Allan and Richie, "we're off to the best start yet!." 
I will have mp3's of the field show music up soon.  Check the website by this Friday.
Thank you to those that responded about the monitor and keyboard.  I have given them away to good homes.
Don't forget to come in and get fitted for your uniform.  Tomorrow 8/18  is the last day!  11-2.

BAND CAMP INFORMATION


Band Camp is here!  All Band students must show up from 9-4 starting on 8/22 for two weeks.
Bring cool clothes, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, comfortable shoes (no sandals) and water.

Music will be provided for you when arrive.

All other musicians, if you have not done so yet,  Download the music from the web site.

The password to download the field show music is:

SNACK SIGN-UP

We need Marching Band parents to sign-up and bring snacks for football games.  If you are interested, please email Karen Tremper at
ktremper54@yahoo.com

Once you sign-up, Karen will explain which type of snacks to bring.

The first Booster (CVIm) meeting of the year is September 13 from 7-8pm in the Instrumental Music Room (3106).
Mark your calendars and plan to attend this informative meeting.
