Who: Marching Band, Drum Line, Colorguard
What: We will perform pep songs in the stands and our field show during half-time to support our football team and entertain the audience.
Report Time: 4:30 p.m. at CVHS
Dismiss Time: @11:00 p.m.

Chino Field Show and Band Review
When:  Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006
Where: Chino, Ca.

Who: Marching Band, Drum Line, Colorguard
What: The morning competition includes marching in an adjudicated parade with ~40 other Jr. High and High School Bands.  In the evening, we will perform our field show before an audience and SCSBOA judges.
Report Time: 9am, 8:30am for crews/cars/staff
Parade Step off: 12:54pm
Parade Awards: 4pm
Field Show warm up: 6:10pm
Field Show performance: 6:30pm
Field show awards: 9:30pm
Dismiss Time: 11:15pm

What: Meet the booster parents and learn how you can support your instrumental music program.

Misc: This is a very important opportunity to learn how you can get involved in CV's growing and expanding music program. We will discuss future dates, chaperoning opportunities and needs.

Ensemble Concert I - Dress Rehearsal

Where: La Crescenta Presbyterian Church.

Who: Symphony Orchestra and auditioned students
What: A rehearsal and sound check for the Ensemble Concert. 
Report Time: 3:30 p.m.
Perform Time: vary
Dismiss Time: 5:30 p.m.
What to bring & wear: Instrument and all equipment needed to perform.  
Misc: This is an important rehearsal so we can get a feel for the room and order of the concert.


Ensemble Concert I
When: Tuesday, November 14, 2006

Who: Symphony Orchestra and auditioned students
What: A Concert of solo's, duets, trios, and other groups of students 
Report Time: 6:15 p.m.
Perform Time: 7:00 p.m.
Dismiss Time: @ 8:30 p.m.
What to bring & wear: Dress clothes. It doesn't have to be strict Black and White, however guys need to wear ties and girls must wear dresses or nice skirts.  
Misc: It's a great evening of fabulous music performed by students who form their own groups, select their own music and schedule time to practice on their own. 


Moorpark "Battle of the Bands" 2006

Football Game Information

All Home Football Games are played at:

Moyse Field

Students are bussed to every home game.  Please refer to the detailed information regarding specific times for a specific event.

What to Bring & Wear to
Home Football Games:
● Marching Band T-shirt
● Marching Shoes
● White socks
● Gloves
● Instrument
● Music / Lyre / Flip Folder
● Cash for concessions (3rd quarter treats will be provided by the boosters)

DON'T FORGET. You must have your complete uniform or you will be able to perform and your grade will suffer. A fine will be incurred if equipment is lost.

Uniform Etiquette:
Always keep your uniform clean and with you.  Do NOT leave your Jacket, sash or hat on the floor (grass or pavement).  If you must take off your Jacket, it needs to be hung neatly.
The hat boxes are not chairs.
You are responsible for all cleaning and repairing costs which are a result of negligence.

There will be a 3rd quarter break for the band during home and away football games where band members may get refreshments. No eating "messy" foods (i.e. nachos, chili, etc) while in uniform.  

Away Football Game Information

Students are bussed to every away football game.  Refer to the detailed information for each specific event.
