Montrose Holiday Parade
When:  Saturday, December 6, 2008
Where: Honolulu Blvd, in Montrose
Who: Marching Band, Drum Line, Color Guard
What: Marching in the local community parade  
Report Time: ~4:00 p.m.
Dismiss Time: ~9:00 p.m.
What to bring & wear: Marching Band t-shirt for under your uniform. Marching Shoes and gloves. Instrument and music. Santa Hat.
Misc: This parade is an annual event which all the local school participate in. Glendale high and Hoover will both have entrees. We will have a party after the parade sponsored by the Boosters.  You may decorate your instrument, but make sure it's playable.

What to bring & wear: Bring Instrument, homework, and school clothes
Misc: Rehearsals involve a lot of "dead" time when your group isn't practicing. Please bring homework or something to do so that we may keep the noise level down during rehearsal.

Instrumental Winter Concert  
When: Friday, December 19, 2008
Where: Crescenta Valley High School. MacDonald Auditorium
Who: All Instrumental Music Students
What: A Concert where we'll play Holiday Music from many cultures.
Report Time: 6:00 p.m.
Perform Time: 7:00 p.m.
Dismiss Time: 9:30 p.m.
What to bring & wear: Concert Dress. Guys - White shirt, black slacks, black socks, black shoes, tie, and a jacket. Girls - Black Dress or nice skirt. Nice shoes. We must look professional in our first concert of the year.
Misc: This concert will be video taped and recorded.
Class officers will help warm-up and tune each group.

All Home Football Games are played at:

Students are bused to every home game.  Please refer to the detailed information regarding specific times for a specific event.

What to Bring & Wear to
Home Football Games:
● Marching Band T-shirt
● Marching Shoes - clean!
● White socks
● Gloves - clean and white!
● Instrument
● Music / Lyre / Flip Folder
● Cash for concessions (3rd quarter treats will be provided by the boosters)

DON'T FORGET: You must have your complete uniform or you will not be able to perform and your grade will suffer. A fine will be incurred if equipment is lost.

Uniform Etiquette:
Always keep your uniform clean and with you.  Do NOT leave your Jacket, sash or hat on the floor (grass or pavement).  If you must take off your Jacket, it needs to be hung neatly.
The hat boxes are not chairs.
You are responsible for all cleaning and repairing costs which are a result of negligence.

There will be a 3rd quarter break for the band during home and away football games where band members may get refreshments. No eating "messy" foods (i.e. nachos, chili, etc) while in uniform.  

Away Football Game Information

Students are bused to every away football game.  Refer to the detailed information for each specific event.

What to bring & wear to AWAY football games
● Marching Band Polo Shirt
● Blue Jeans
● Tennis Shoes
● If weather is cold, Navy Jacket or optional CV outerwear
● Instrument
● Music / Lyre / Flip Folder
