FALCON NOTES

School starts this Tuesday.  The past three weeks have been busy with band camp, so I feel like I've already started school, but it will be nice to see new faces and catch up with old ones when school officially starts on Tuesday.
I hope everyone was able to visit family, friends and take some time out for themselves to recharge themselves for the year.

I've already been looking to acquire new music for every class and am looking forward to the start of the 2005-6 School Year.

Band has been busy with band camp, the beach trip, their performance last Friday and the end of band camp party.  I'm proud of their progress so far.

BAND CAMP WRAP UP

For the past 10 days, or 60 hours, those who attended band camp probably consumed over 100 gallons of water.  Through the heat and hard work, our Marching Band and drumline learned the first half of their field show.  You will be amazed by their first performance.  They performed extremely well for their parents last Friday and will "knock your socks off" this Friday at their first football game. 

Uniforms were passed out and are being hemmed by gracious volunteers as we prepare for the first game of the season this Friday, September 9.  For more information on the game and what to wear,  go to the calendar section of the website.

MUSICAL DINING

September 15 will mark our first "Musical Dining" event of the year.  Come to Dominick's Italian Restaurant

The first Booster (CVIm) meeting of the year is September 13 from 7-8pm in the Instrumental Music Room (3106).
Mark your calendars and plan to attend this informative meeting.
