FALCON NOTES

Band Camp is in full swing!
The School is alive with Band Students rehearsing all over campus as we work hard for the start of Marching Season.  We have seen great improvements everywhere and are excited to work with all of the returning band students as well as our fabulous bunch of incoming Freshmen.
All the coaches are pleased with the drive and concentration of Drumline and Marching Band.  Wednesday, we learned the first 7 sets of our opener for Ray.  We plan to learn the entire opener by this Friday so we can work on polishing it and work on our second song.
Sectionals are also going well.  We have new coaches for the Clarinets, Trumpets and Low Brass and they report great progress.   We even have a few pictures from Drumline and Officer camp as well as the first week of Band Camp on our website.
I hope to see most of you this Saturday (8/27) as we go to Zuma Beach.  If you can drive, please contact me ASAP.
Next Friday, I hope to see all of you at the "End of Band Camp" Performance and Party.  Check the calendar on the website for details.
